I am interested in precision calculations at low energies, typically below 1 GeV. In this non-perturbative limit, lattice and effective field theory techniques are of high importance. In my research, I employ these methods for flavour physics observables and the muon anomalous magnetic moment. I am particularly focussed on the inclusion of electromagnetic corrections in lattice QCD, as required to reach (sub-)per cent precision in the calculated quantities.
